Volunteer Firefighter Rubs Elbows With D-Back's Ace

0203080055_0001In what surely amounts to the best day of his life, Greasewood bartender and GFVFD member Patrick had the chance to wrap his arm around Brandon Webb, spill draft beer on him, and get this picture.  Patrick repeatedly stated that him and Mr. Webb share the same birthday, while Mr. Webb only looked blankly ahead, eyes glazed over.  Just kidding.  Congrats Pat!

Forums

Soapbox_copy Hello fellow do-gooders.  This post is going to be a makeshift forum.  Since a forum is not an option on this weblog, I am forced to improvise.  In order to  keep an ongoing thread of communication, simply click on the post title "forum" (which is in the color red) and you will be on that posts page.  Directly underneath the post are user comments.  Below that is the section you fill out to add you're own post.  Once you are done, just scroll to the top of the page and click the "Main" button to go back to the homepage.  Any comments made by you will be read by everybody else who checks this particular post.  You can make appointments, talk to each other, or make plans.  Lets try it out and see how it goes!  Any comments of ill-repute regarding your friendly webmaster, Sprint, will promptly be removed and a picture of a donkey with your face on it will take it's place.  Allright!  You can do it!

Sweethearts Valentine Day Dance

Valentines_day_0253_copy_2 Grab your sweetheart (appropriately) because Reata Pass is having a Valentines Day Dance February 14th at 6:30pm.  Featuring the musical stylings of Johnny Joy and The Saddle Tramps.  A nice night with dancing, good food, and a drawing for prizes.  Dinner will be a delicious prime rib dinner for 18.95.  But the great part is, being the upstanding moral pillar in our little neck of the woods that you are, all GFVFD firemen (and firewomen) who bring in their membership cards will get a "buy one entree get the second entree for half price".

Make your reservations early buy calling Reata Pass at (480) 585 - 7277.

P.S.  Anybody caught doing the "funky chicken" on the dance floor will promptly be escorted out.  Thank you.
